Bring your family, bring your pets! Starting Sunday, January 3, every Sunday between 10 AM – 3 PM, at the Gulf Coast Community Center. 1.5 mile walk with 12 trivia questions will be posted. Thursdays in the Park

The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce free summer concert series, Thursdays in the Park, begins May 19, 2016 at 6:30 pm in beautiful Navarre Park. Each Thursday for 15 weeks we will feature a different band providing great free music from 6:30 -8:30 pm. One food vendor will be on-site and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase. As a reminder, smoking is prohibited in Navarre Park and pets are not allowed.In the event of inclimate weather, the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce will announce cancellations by 4;30 PM the day of concert each week. Blues on the Bay 2016 Summer Concert Series

Fred Astaire Dance Studio owners Dawn Westberry and Victor Luna present a star-studded evening of dance featuring local celebrities and cast members from ABC’s hit television series Dancing with the Stars including Tony Dovolani. Limited seating is available for the 8th Annual Life’s a Dance benefiting Covenant Hospice. WEAR TV-3 news anchor Sue Straughn and Brent Lane, Cat Country 98.7 Personality, will host the event.
Dancing is a true celebration of life. Proceeds from this event support Covenant Care’s mission where every moment is a memory in the making.

Dodge Ball Charity Tournament

Dodgebrawl is a fun, double-elimination dodge ball tournament on the arena floor of Pensacola Bay Center. Teams consist of 6-10 adults, ages 18-65, playing for annual bragging rights and winning money for a local charity* of their choice (must be in Escambia or Santa Rosa County). Teams will also have the chance to win prize money for their charity through unique contests such as “Best Dressed Team” and “Best Team Name”. But that’s not all! Throughout the day, participants and spectators will enjoy other amenities offered at Dodgebrawl. Freshly poured beverages will be served in the beer garden. There’s a cash bar onsite as well. A professional photographer will be available in the photo opt area, and DJ and Emcee will be providing the live entertainment.
Running of the Bulls Festival of San Fermin 2016

For the 6th year, Seville Quarter is recreating the “Running of the Bulls” in historic downtown Pensacola. This annual event, made famous by author Earnest Hemingway, has participants chased by angry horned bulls. The Seville Quarter Encierro features the Pensacola Roller Gurlz as the “Bulls”. As the first blast is at 10:00 a.m. the runners will take to the scenic course through beautiful downtown Pensacola. At the second rocket the bulls will be released, wielding wiffle bats, to chase down the participants. As is customary in Pamplona runners are requested to wear all white with red kerchiefs or sashes. Participants will enjoy music along the route as well as surprise appearances from the Bulls. Beware!
There is no fee to simply Run with the Bulls. Those wanting a shirt, bandana and complimentary beer must register and pay a nominal fee.The 1st 200 paid participants will receive a commemorative Hornitos bandana. Paid participants registered prior to July 9 will get the 2016 Running of the Bulls t-shirt. All others will get shirts as supplies last.
Following the Running of the Bulls the festival will continue in and around the historic Seville Quarter Entertainment Complex. There will be Latin and Contemporary dance music; complimentary food beverages to paid participants and food and beverages for purchase for all others. Prizes will be awarded to the Best Group, Best Horns (roller derby bulls), Best Senor, Best Senorita, Most outlandish costume and the “Viva Pamplona” Group Spirit award. The first Male and Female to cross the Red Bull finish line (this is not a timed nor a scored event) will receive the “Red Bull Gives you Wings” award.
The Krewe of Andres de Pez will serve as escort to St. Fermin, the Patron Saint of Pamploma and act as marshalls along the route.
